Burnaby Mountain

Burnaby mountain is a splendid place to soak in the views of far corners from Vancouver downtown in the west to that of the glacial fjords in Indian Arm in front. From Vancouver mainland, it's easily accessible on any day. Located in the northeast region of Burnaby, with transit options available, it is a great picnic spot, or a starting point for hiking on some amazing trails that begin from here, spot for some scenic views and much more. I've been to this park multiple times and each one has something new and unique to experience.

On the west view is the sculpture of wooden totem pole style artwork dedicated by Japan to city of Burnaby, watching over the city.

There are 14 trails that one can do from here !! Read more out here

Nice rolling hills are fun to spend time in summer or fall. We caught someone trying paragliding practice on the slopes one day.

This place also has a lot of Cherry Blossoms that you can easily enjoy while sitting here. And they keep planting new flowers each season.

If nothing else, we sometimes end up coming up to just enjoy a warm chai (tea) & chat whether its drizzling, sunny, snowy or showering with beauty !
