Masoor daal
Ingridents:: 1cup masoor , 1 large onion , 2-3 green chillies , 4-5 garlic , ginger
Pre-prep : Boil masoor in a cooker like any other daal.
Method:
1. In a pan,for Tadka: Heat oil 2-3 tbsp, add asofotida/heeng and jeera.
2. Add small cut - onions and green chillies, and saute it till brown.
3. Add cooked masoor to this pan , and add some water as this is semi- liquid preparation
4. Add finely cut garlic and ginger
5. Add salt to taste, little turmeric , corriander leaves.
Stir till its little thick.... thats it !
Prep time : 15- 20 mins
Serves: 2 people
Daal Fry
Ingridents:: 1cup yellow moong dal, 1 large onion , 2-3 green chillies , 4-5 garlic , ginger
Pre-prep :
1. soak n keep yellow moong daal for 1 hr
2. wash n rinse it 2-3 times
3. boil water in pan(eg:for 1 cup daal , 2-3 cup water)
4. add daal to boiling water and cook it; stir
Method:
